Unfortunately, women deciding to have an abortion and later regretting it is something that happens very often in today's world. While it is impossible to go back in time and reverse what has been done, it is possible for women to experience abortion recovery and abortion healing after the procedure has been preformed. The God of all healing and comfort can easily help women in their time of need by easing their pain and sorrow, while at the same time, bringing joy back into their lives.
Unplanned Pregnancy Can Be Scary.
Children are always a gift to be treasured. However, their arrival into this world does not always occur in the most ideal situations. The conception of unwanted children is one of the consequences that people risk occurring when they engage in pre-marital sex. When a pregnancy occurs that is not planned and completely unexpected, it can be a scary ordeal. This is especially true for a person who is not physically, emotionally or financially prepared for the massive responsibility of raising a child on their own. When teenage girls or women decide to get an abortion, it is often because they are vulnerable, desperate, confused or scared. While they are trying to figure out the correct decision, they are often tricked into believing the idea that unborn children are not really human beings at that stage of development. It is only later, after the abortion has been performed, that they realize what a mistake they have made. This manifests itself in the form of depression, guilt and post-abortion stress syndrome. However, abortion recovery and abortion healing can always be achieved.
The Lord Will Forgive You.
There is good news for those girls and women who have had an abortion performed. God will always forgive those who request forgiveness. According to Romans 3:22, "We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done." God will always be there for you. If you ask Him for help with abortion recovery and abortion healing, he will respond. There is no act so terrible that would prevent God from forgiving us. He is merciful, this is His nature. Along with forgiveness for our sins, He will also provide us with peace of mind and heart. All we need to do to receive His light into our lives is to have faith in Jesus Christ, thereby allowing him to become a permanent part of our lives.
Christian Women Need Not Be Ashamed.
Christian women will also occasionally become accidentally pregnant. In these cases, they may contemplate having an abortion performed. Many times, this decision is based purely out of the fear of public opinion. They do not want the reputation of being a woman who is "loose" and has pre-marital sex, with their child being a constant reminder to everyone of her careless and sinful sexual behavior. Even a woman who knows that abortion is a sin may feel the need to eliminate the evidence of her mistake. In these cases, the church needs to support women better than we have been. These women need to understand that while their actions are not approved of in the eyes of God, He will grant you redemption and forgiveness. He wants you to have abortion healing and abortion recovery. The same goes for Christian women who have had abortions. The taking of a life is always a sin, but it is still possible to be forgiven. Romans 8:1 says, "There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus." Therefore, if you ask the Lord to forgive you, He will do it. He grants his forgiveness not because all sinners deserve it. He does it because it is the Lord's nature to forgive.
Spread the Lord's Word So Others May Benefit.
When an abortion's repercussions have finally been realized by a woman, it may be hard for her to forgive herself. However, it is not God's desire to have us feel guilty for the rest of our lives. Romans 8:1-2 says: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Instead, He would rather have us trust in Jesus wholeheartedly and be set free by His word -- the truth. Doing this allows us as Christians to learn from our mistakes and mature spiritually. Prayer and Bible study will allow women to build up a trust in God that will enable them to spread His word. Rather than dwelling on the abortion, a woman should use her experience to encourage others not to make the same mistake. Christian counseling is always a good option for women dealing with this traumatic experience. If the woman trusts the Lord, a spiritual maturity and strength will grow within her. God can use this negative experience as a means of making her character stronger and preparing her to help others on their journey to find abortion recovery and abortion healing.
